What are antique wooden boats generally worth?

I have about 20 or so wooden boats that I know are at least 50+ years old with also some small metal boats…is there any site I could check out to see what they are worth?

I would ask the Community at "I Antique Online" http://www.iantiqueonline.com/
They have over 1000 members who buy, sell or collect antiques and art. You will get more specialized feedback this way.

Are these models or full size boats?

Full size boats can be a couple thousand to over a milliion.

Check with Mystic Seaport, or the Chris Craft owners club.

I am guessing you mean models.

A quick search on ebay might tell you where the asking and selling price would be.

Anywhere from worthless to over a million dollars, completely restored.

If they are row boats, they probably are not worth a lot. Get the manufacturer and search the web. So sites have buy and sell features.
Wood boats are nostalgic and normally the value is in the beholder.

You could check with NADA for what is generally the "book value" but I’ll tell you what I tell everybody else.

Whatever you’re selling is only worth what you get for it.

    Check ebay for similar items.

They might be worth a lot if they are culturally significant, or hand built by a famous designer like Joel White etc. – and are in museum condition.

Sadly most people only look at old wooden boats as hard work, with some justification.

I would contact the Wooden Boat Association and advertise in Wooden Boat magazine – that’s where the hard core wooden boat nuts hang out.
