I know that catamarans are double hulled boats, but are there any specific examples?

    Double Hull: pontoons and catamarans.

Triple hull: some of the new, big-dollar pontoons are triple hulled, so you will see that at pontoon.net

Tri-maran sailboats. Like the Woodwind on Lake Tahoe

Pontoon boats usually have 2 and alot of the FASTER sailboats will have 2 to 3 hulls depending on water and length.
