How fast are private/motor boats allowed to go in the canals of Venice?

I know there must be a limit because the city is supposed to be sinking, but I can’t find anywhere that it gives any clue as to the maximum speed of motor boats (or if they are even allowed).

Why do two boats that ride parallel seem like they are being sucked?

If you anchor two boats in a river so they ride in the current parallel and close to each other, they move together as if they were being sucked or pushed. Explain why?

I have no clue. My physics teacher gave us a take-home test with just randomness on it. Any help is appreciated. And I have about five more questions to be answered.

I love bright colors! Currently my room is hot pink, I’m planning on repainting it to neon green. Im also redoing my carpet because its about that time. I have no clue what color to do the carpet. Im open to all suggestions.
