If the pesticide imadacloprid is spilled onto a carpet, is there anyway to clean the carpet and neutralize it?

Spilled some imadacloprid on the carpet. Is there anyway to successfully neutralize the pesticide from the fibers in the carpet, or does the carpet need simply be ripped up and replaced?
